In 1982, Jeff Clark made his way to Los Angeles, CA to further pursue and enhance his career as a Record Producer. Upon his arrival, he became immersed in many business ventures before discovering his additional love for video leading to the opening of his own music video production company, Sputnik Films, with partner Alan Calzatti in 1987. Over the course of the next 22 years Mr. Clark would gain his most solid Producing, Directing and Editing experience, working on more than 300 music video, commercial and computer animation projects throughout many parts of the world. Working with such acts as the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync earning MTV awards for Best Video of the Year as well as catapulting both groups into worldwide success.
After years of success in music videos, Jeff expanded into international commercials and corporate spots as the Executive Producer of his own Hollywood based production company, Glass Guns. Here he would come to work with such notable brands as Coca-Cola, General Mills, Sony PlayStation, Skechers, Toyota, Tic Tac, Nescafe’ among many others.
Jeff would eventually reconnect with former production partner Alan Calzatti to found MVCI, The Music Video Commercial Institute, the world's first music video film school. As the Film School's Director, Clark was now able to share his experiences as a filmmaker, mentoring students and placing them in real roles on actual commercial and music video shoots. Eventually he would sell his share in the school and relocate to Northern California.
Following a year of corporate video work at Google, Jeff is presently helping to build Al Gore’s news media company, Current TV as a Television Creative. His proven tenacity has been recognized with a Promax Gold Award for Best Corporate Marketing Video, and an Emmy for Best Interactive Television Network. Jeff brings his talent, ideas and most valuable production know-how into every project he is involved with and looks at every new project as a personal challenge.
